Musical Theatre/Drama

“Performing Arts Workshop” (Grades 3-8)  Singing! Acting! Dancing! Behind the Scenes! In this exciting class, students will explore the many facets of the performing arts world.  Emphasis will be on developing self-confidence and good stage presence through a variety of singing, acting and dance exercises.  School unity and teamwork will be fostered by paring middle-school students with elementary students—The Arts at Magellan Buddy System.   Students will also take a peek “behind the scenes” and learn about the importance of the stage crew and production staff.  A terrific class for all skill levels and a great precursor for students interested in signing up for the spring production.      

Class meets on Wednesdays from 2:35-3:35 in the multi-purpose room.
Classes begin September 3rd and end December 3rd. (No class 10/1 & 11/26)
Cost:  $225
